Microsoft's new Cortana looks a lot like Windows 8.1's SmartSearch

Cortana has been around on PCs since Microsoft launched Windows 10 back in 2015. Now it looks like the company is planning to revamp the whole Cortana experience. If Aggiornamentilumia is to be believed, Microsoft is planning to release a new Cortana layout with the upcoming Redstone 4. The new version of Cortana is similar to the Windows 8.1 Search which Microsoft retired for Windows 10. You can check out the new design and features in the video below.

The new version is still in the development phase but it looks like Microsoft is working hard to enhance the overall experience. Cortana looks beautiful with the new Fluent Design elements and we hope to see it soon in the upcoming Insider builds.
