NVIDIA's game-streaming service now available as a free beta for most Windows PCs

At CES 2018, NVIDIA announced the launch of GeForce NOW, the game-streaming service, as a free beta for billions of under-powered Windows desktops and PCs. GeForce NOW service will allow gamers to connect to their library of games from many of the top digital stores including Uplay PC, Ubisoft’s PC games portal. With a high-speed internet connection, gamers can enjoy games streaming at 1080p resolution and up to 120 frames per second.
Since most of the heavy-lifting happens in NVIDIA’s data centers, gamers need not worry about the system maintenance tasks. Patches and driver updates are installed automatically, and cloud saves are enabled for cross-platform play.
The free beta is available for Windows desktops and laptops in most of North America and Europe. The GeForce NOW app supports games like PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, Arma 3, Garry’s Mod, Fortnite, and more. Join the waitlist to give the beta a try.
