Microsoft Match Solver app is now available on the Google Play Store. As you may have guessed from the name, the app will help you solve math problems.

The app will be capable of solving elementary, middle, and high school math problems by taking advantage of an advanced AI-powered math solver. All you have to do is write a math problem on screen or use the camera to take a picture of the math problem. The app will recognize the math problem and will provide you with a step-by-step explanation, interactive graphs, similar problems from the web, and online video lectures.

Note, the app is available in preview, which means that you might come across a few bugs while using the app on your Android smartphone. Microsoft Math Solver app is already available on iOS, so if you’re an iPhone user, you can install the app too.

Microsoft Math Solver App Details

The world of math can be fun. Yet, it can also be a big challenge for some, especially now that the learning setup in the educational field has dramatically changed. And with limited interaction with teachers and some parents unable to aid their children in their lessons, facing math these days just became more grueling. Enter the Microsoft Math Solver, a free educational app that solves math problems with the help of artificial intelligence. This educational tool can provide solutions and answers to basic and complex expressions, definitions for mathematical concepts, and even detailed explanations of the formula and problem-solving solutions.

Microsoft Math Solver supports problem solutions for various math subjects, such as Pre-Algebra (radicals and exponents, fractions, matrices, and determinants); Algebra (quadratic & simultaneous equations, inequalities, rational expressions, linear, polynomial, and exponential graphs); Basic Calculus (Summations, Limits, derivatives, and integrals); Statistics (Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation, permutations, and combinations); elementary math (arithmetic, real, complex numbers, LCM, GCD, factors, and roman numerals); and even word problems on mathematical concepts, number theory, probability, volume, and surface area.

Users can enter inputs in a variety of ways, making it highly flexible according to one’s needs. If you like solving math problems using a pen and a sheet of paper, you can simply use your finger or a stylus to write them on the screen. Microsoft Math Solver likewise lets users use their tablet or phone cameras to capture images. Using the AI, it can recognize and automatically arrange the printed or handwritten problems in a snap. And for a faster and more convenient way, it allows importing images saved on the device gallery. Even more, it can scan whole worksheets and handle multiple problems.

Moreover, you can type and edit the problem using the built-in advanced scientific calculator of the app for more control over the arrangement of the mathematical problem inputs. The calculator can be easily changed in different modes according to your input needs, giving you a total of 7 choices: Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics, Calculus, Matrices, Variables, and List. In addition, it is possible to graph any equation to visualize your function and understand the relationship between variables or plot x-y data tables for linear/non-linear functions.

Also, Microsoft Math Solver is armed with all the guidance you need in solving problems and improving your skills. Apart from the interactive graphs and step-by-step explanations about the solution provided, Microsoft Math Solver will give examples you can use to practice the different mathematical concepts. The app will even let you search for additional learning materials, such as related worksheets and video tutorials.
